Matthew Hanks
Matthew combines local expertise with over 20 years of real estate brokerage experience… Since 2003, he has sold hundreds of houses in the Greater Gaston area.
As a Realtor®, Matthew is committed to helping his clients get the very most for their homes in the least amount of time and the smoothest process possible.
Matthew holds every major certification in the field of residential real estate, some of which are exclusively reserved for top performers, including GRI (Graduate, Realtor® Institute), ABR® (Accredited Buyer Representative®), e-Pro, and CRS® (Certified Residential Specialist®), the industry's highest designation.
Matthew lives in Gastonia with his wife and business partner, Susan and their three children: Gabe, Anna, and Jonah. The family attends Union Road Church.
Fun fact: Matthew and Susan were both members of the Class of 95 at South Point High School in Belmont, but their paths rarely crossed back then. They met again at their 10 year class reunion, held at Belmont Abbey College. They married in Gastonia in 2007.
In his free time, Matthew enjoys golf, flying, videography, and day trips with his family.
