Holy Week is more than a tradition—it is a journey through the most powerful moments of the Christian faith. It invites us to walk with Jesus from celebration to suffering, from silence to victory, and to reflect on what it means for our own lives.

It begins with Palm Sunday, where Jesus is welcomed into Jerusalem with praise (Luke 19:38). Yet within days, that celebration fades, reminding us how quickly faith can waver when life doesn’t meet our expectations.
Holy Monday calls us back to sincere worship as Jesus cleanses the temple (Matthew 21:13), challenging us to examine our hearts.
Midweek, Spy Wednesday reflects Judas’ betrayal—a sobering reminder of how easily we can drift if we are not grounded in faith.

Maundy Thursday reveals the heart of Jesus through humility and love. By washing His disciples’ feet (John 13:15), He shows that true greatness is found in serving others.
Good Friday brings us to the cross—the ultimate act of sacrifice. When Jesus declares, “It is finished” (John 19:30), it is not defeat, but victory. It is the moment where love pays the price for sin.
Then comes Holy Saturday—a day of silence, waiting, and uncertainty. It reflects the seasons in our lives when God feels distant, yet is still at work.

Finally, Easter Sunday brings hope fulfilled: “He is not here; he has risen” (Matthew 28:6). The resurrection reminds us that no matter how dark things seem, the story does not end in defeat.
Holy Week teaches us that faith requires trust, love requires sacrifice, and waiting has purpose. Most of all, it reminds us that the cross is not the end—because hope always rises again.
