The Masters Ticket Lottery officially opens today.

If attending The Masters at Augusta National Golf Club has been on your bucket list, now is the time to throw your hat in the ring. The application window for 2027 Masters Tournament tickets is open from June 1 through June 20, 2026.

While the odds are famously long, someone gets selected every year—and if you don't apply, your chances are exactly zero.

How the Masters Ticket Lottery Works

Augusta National distributes most daily Masters tickets through a random selection process.

Applicants can request tickets for:

• Practice Rounds (Monday–Wednesday)
• Tournament Rounds (Thursday–Sunday)

You may apply for multiple days, but if selected, you will generally only be awarded tickets for one day.

If you do not already have an account, you'll need to create one.

Step 2: Complete the Application

Once logged in:

• Select the day(s) you'd like to attend.
• Submit your application before June 20.
• Wait for the drawing process to be completed.

No payment is required when you apply. If selected, you'll be notified later and given an opportunity to purchase your tickets.

Step 3: Watch Your Email

Applicants are typically notified later in the summer whether they were selected. Both winners and non-winners receive notification emails.
