Susan Hanks, a multifaceted powerhouse, wears several hats within Hanks Realty Group. As Matthew Hanks's wife, she not only brings her flair for design but also orchestrates the behind-the-scenes operations as the staging/home prep coordinator and business manager.

Her role as a devoted mother to their three children—Gabe, Anna, and Jonah—brings an added layer of dedication and care to her life, blending seamlessly with her professional commitments.

A Gaston County native and a proud graduate of South Point High School and UNC - Chapel Hill with a Master of Science, Susan had a remarkable 23-year career as a medical speech-language pathologist and voice specialist. In July 2022, she transitioned her expertise and passion to complement Matthew's real estate business, bringing a wealth of knowledge and a fresh perspective to the team.

With an inherent love for luxury homes and interior design, Susan embraced the staging role at HRG with grace and enthusiasm. Her ability to combine her extensive experience in communication sciences with her lifelong passion for creating visually captivating spaces has been instrumental in HRG's success.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Susan finds solace and inspiration in her "Jesus chair" every morning. She relishes outdoor walks, family hikes, and travels that enrich her life experiences. Barre classes in the man cave are her secret to staying energized, while watching Jack Ryan with Matthew adds a touch of relaxation to their moments together.

Island hopping and singing whenever the opportunity arises are among Susan's cherished hobbies, reflecting her zest for exploration and the arts.
